yes. my beloved and i are not in much agreement over what temperature to keep the house in the winter, but both of us would have turned on the heat by now.

we're in the market for a whole mess of estimates on the cost of winterizing the house (windows, siding, insulation, etc.) to see if we can get the house to do more of the work, and the dead dinosaurs to do less of it...

Dad shocked both me and Mom by turning on the heat a few weeks ago. Usually he makes us wait until we're turning blue, but we think he turned it on early because he's been feeling so bad for so long.
