Home heating price

Another reason rough times may be ahead for many americans -- Our monthly budget amount for home heating has just gone up 14% (and our usage has stayed the same or gone down slightly, so it must be all price).  

Rowe's produce farm

Saturday was a truly enjoyable day.  Farmer's market in the morning with B, and then otterkin & I went to pick strawberries and sugar snap peas at Rowe's produce farm. Blue sky, green plants, lots of yummy juicy fruits and vegetables in my picking boxes. Then a nap, then prepping strawberries for the freezer and for strawberry shortcake (which was totally awesome).

Rowe's also has other kinds of peas (the season for strawberries & peas typically ends by or before the 4th of July), and raspberries July-October. They're east of Ypsilanti off 94, the Rawsonvile Road exit.
