We survived

...the lord-of-the-rings-a-palooza. I'm not sure if I recommend it or not. It was fun, but we were pretty loopy by disk 6, which had the benefit of making the slogging-through-mordor much more enjoyable. Or at least feel quicker. And now, in case they didn't already, all four of the nieces/nephew think we're crazy. Well, they probably did anyway. No kid lasted longer than 2 disks. Yay for crazy parents and relatives! (The good crazy.)

Question for the geeks out there: How did Shelob get Frodo through the mithrail?
