I was just watching out the window at the little raccoon who lives on my second-story porch from time to time, who was himself watching over the railing at the snow/sleet/rain, with what seemed like the appropriate amount of disgust & resignation.

We have chipmunks and squirrels that Winter in our garage. They turned on the stereo yesterday. Wouldn't it be wild if they knew each other????
