Saugatuck-Douglas?

Anyone have lodging you'd recommend in Saugatuck-Douglas?  Or an alternate suggestion for a close-to-home (<4h drive) weekend?

I had definitely thought about this! My concern is that it's kind of isolated... Any shopping, restaurants, other attractions?
