Transcendence
That the wisdom you seek come from within your own self "from a personal connection to the divine that was accessible to everyone." To be still and listen. (Quaker meetings in silence.) /// "True silence is to the spirit what sleep is to the body, norishment and refrehsment" - William Penn.
Health, and really Wellness
As something positive, as something you do for yourself and for your life, as something you are creating in yourself and is part of yourself. As something that you do in your life at all times. "If you can learn how to handle stress more effectively, that'll help you stay healthy." To spin tales like myth and star lore --- what is the story of you? what tale are you telling? what is the meaning? "Our stories were the medicine we could use to heal our ailing lives." To give yourself permission to take care of yourself at all times -- not just wait until after breakdown. Slow down and fill each day with what cares for you -- time, space, tea, reflection, friends, weekends, walks, nature, yoga...
Radical re-envisioning
A derelict ditch can become a plants-filled stream. But, how? Understand sun & shade; understand what's there & if it fits the "plants-filled" vision; tear out the stuff that doesn't fit; add things you love and that are native to the area. Paving-stone curved pathways and places to sit. Example: Native desert willow, sunflowers, sage, salvia, etc ... these could all flourish.
For example, getting moving actually helps your body - such as yoga. and links the inner and outer worlds with rhythm. "To see and appreciate the beauty around me, to listen carefully for the voice of the sacred, to search for the wisdom inherent in every rock and leaf." To be thankful of all the blessings in your life.
