Four hours ago, I wrote on FB (and it's true for those of you who read my LJ, too): “I think we all just want people to see us, for who we are. If you’re reading this, there’s a strong chance that I love you, and I hope that you know that.”
(Sappy, sorry; I get that way sometimes.)
Fast-forward a few hours.
I go to check out a TedTalk video I’d been meaning to catch up on, which I thought was about the meaning of courage. It is. But it turns out that is only small part of the context.
And two of the many points in the conclusion of this video: how important it is “to let ourselves be seen, deeply seen. And to love with our whole hearts, even though there is no guarantee.”
I am /reeling/, y’all.
Here’s the video. It’s long, twenty minutes, but worth it. I’m probably going to watch it again.

Synchronicity is hitting me upside the head with this in the past 24 hours. I think that means I better be paying attention.
