Working on much-needed lawn work - eradicating the incredibly poorly-named Tree of Heaven and other trees trying to tear down our house from the foundations up - - - this is virtuous work that means I'm awesome, right? *panicked look* RIGHT??!? If I haven't mentioned it, I am SO glad that we ended up not buying a historic fixer-upper (ours was already largely "fixed"), because sometimes maintenance alone feels like enough to do me in.    *tired slumph into chair*
