Barn Concert & Bonfire! - a benefit for the Washtenaw Land Trust - You're invited to a barn dance featuring the music of Billy King & the Idylls, at Rancho Tranquilico, home of Barry Lonik & Wesley Treemore. Enjoy a mix of folk, pop, bluegrass, swing, and rock with Billy's originals plus a few covers. Folks of all ages are encouraged to attend. Non-alcoholic refreshments will be available. A bonfire will follow the dancin'.
Suggested donation: $10 per person, $15 per couple, $20 per family. Proceeds will pay the band a bit, and the rest benefits the Washtenaw Land Trust. For the location and map, visit www.washtenawlandtrust.org/events.htm.
Here's the scoop from Barry: "Just got back from seeing Billy King & the Idylls, hoping they were as good as I remembered them since they're coming to play on Saturday, June 9. They weren't as good... THEY WERE WONDERFUL. Whatever plans or conflicts you have for that date, change them. Come kick off summer with a great band out here at Rancho Tranquilico. - Barry. "
